My mom has yet to get me the pictures Elder Mathias Ravsten has been sending home, but he did send this one in his last e-mail.  It is Ty, his mission president and wife.  He made it to OKC safe and sound and he is loving it so far.  He is a stud! I am so proud of my buddy! :)

Let the Games Begin!
It is that time of year again.  Dallan is returning to Pocatello High School's freshman football team as the offensive coordinator.  I will also be joining Dallan on Pocatello's coaching staff for their girls soccer program.
Soccer is already underway.  We have won 1 game and lost 1 game so far.  This will be a fun season for us!
Dallan expects his team to do well this season.  He will get to show his kids' stuff this weekend against Madison.  Good luck, Dallan! :)

To wrap up our short, anniversary trip we decided to take a stroll around the temple where we were sealed for time and all eternity.  Every time I get to go to Temple Square I get to relive the best day of my life.  I thank my Heavenly Father every day for blessing me with such a wonderful husband who takes such good care of me.  I am one lucky girl.

Sunday morning of our anniversary get-away we decided to take a romantic and relaxing stroll around a miniature lake by the hotel we were staying at.  It was 75 degrees, clear blue skies and totally perfect! :)

It is official! Dallan and I have been married for a year!  We celebrated our anniversary at one of the most romantic locations in Utah... LAGOON!  Unfortunately we didn't get as many pictures as we would have hoped because we were too busy running from ride to ride.   But we did have a blast and Dallan finally got to ride on the legendary ride, Wicked.

So while Dallan and I were in Paris, Idaho for my family reunion we went to a rope swing and this is proof that I dominated that adventure!

This 4th of July was fun, except for my awesome sunburn.  We got to enjoy Pocatello's parade with Dallan's family, and had a BBQ at his aunt's house.  We got to enjoy the fireworks with Britt and Mandy Coray this year.  It was the perfect way to spend our nation's birthday. :)

So we encountered a fun little surprise when we went to drop off Ty.  We ran into none other than TANNER! Small world isn't it?  It was great to see him! It was perfect.  The two Elder Ravstens together. :)

So on June 13th, 2012 we took Ty down to the MTC.  It was such an amazing experience!  Dallan wasn't able to go down due to work but the rest of the family was able to make the trip down.  The ride down was fun.  Poor Rex bawled when we had to drop him off.  Rex really loved and looked up to him.  Ty is so ready.  His farewell talk was so inspiring.  I cried a lot!  I managed to hold my composure when we took him down but it only lasted so long.  That night was a long one.  But we are so proud and excited for Ty.

So about a month or so ago Dad, Dallan, Ty, and I headed down to Provo to see Tanner before he left on his mission.  While down there we all pitched in to help Kenzie and Jason move.  And of course, being Ravstens, we had to pig out and then get some ice cream.  It was really fun to hang out with the cousins and see Tanner one more time before he left to the MTC.
So Dallan and I have made some great home improvements this summer.  Dallan found this giant picture of the Salt Lake Temple at a garage sale for $35!  This picture is originally about $400. Steal of a deal? I think so! :)

So this past Sunday Dallan and I decided to
take advantage of the nice weather we were
having and go for a motorcycle ride.  When
we got home and I stepped off the
motorcycle I accidentally hit my leg on the
tail pipe. OUCH!!! It started out as a blister
and has since become infected. :(
But it has mad for some cool
pictures!

This is how it started out....
This is how it looks now...

PLAYOFFS! PLAYOFFS! PLAYOFFS!

I am pleased to announce that the Jazz made it into the 2012 playoffs and Dallan, Kelsey, Ty, and I were all in attendance to witness that great game.  And, surprisingly enough, thanks to Facebook, we discovered our cousin Makensie and husband Jason were also there and got to meet up with them for a little bit.  We didn't get home until 3 am but it was sooooo worth it! :)

This is what Courtney and I like to call the
"Bromance"...
Tonight we were able to get together with some of our awesome friends in the ward for miniature golf and snacks at the Tew's house.  As it turns out, Courtney Spicer and I were not the best mini golfers in the group, but it was pretty fun none-the-less. :) Us and the Spicers road our bikes to the miniature golf course and are planning on going for another ride tomorrow!  I need to say, going for motorcycle rides is a lot more fun when you go on rides with other people. :)
Dallan and I with our sexy bike :)

Daniel and Courtney rockin' the motorcycle.
 The Gang! (Thieman's, Coray's, Lammer's, Tew's, Spicer's, and Parker's)

Our Easter Sunday celebrations did not end after the Egg Toss this year.  This year Dallan's 23rd birthday fell on Easter Sunday.  We had some cake and ice cream and presents at the Parker's.  Dallan got some good cash contributions to his "motorcycle accessories fund".  He also got some good motorcycle gloves from Grammy Jean (which he looks so good with).  And a good looking Nike shirt. (Now that he has a new shirt maybe we could start working on getting rid of some of the old worn out ones?) :)
