Yes, I will be buying this for my baby, because lets be honest, it's going to be the most beautiful baby girl I have ever seen! :) (I may be a little biased. Just a little, though.)

This week is the first time I have been able to feel my baby move. And I don't just mean I just feel little flutters every now and then but I can put my hand on my tummy and get a good solid kick from my baby girl! Yes, I am assuming they are kicks and not punches because how could I not produce a soccer player?! And besides, if those really are kicks, she is going to go far in soccer because she has got some power.
It is so exciting for me to actually start to feel her move.  I am still in the awkward stage where people cannot tell if I am pregnant or have just put on a little weight, so it is nice to get to the point where I can get a daily (and now almost hourly) reminder that I have a little person growing in me and that I am not just "letting myself go".
I am already at 21.5 weeks! I am over half-way done! Even though I still have a ways to go, I cannot wait to meet my little angel and hold her in my arms.  :)

Mixing It Up

So, I found this recipe on the best site ever created (pinterest).  Dallan and I have a bunch of ramen noodles we keep on hand for food storage purposes but don't really love them all that much. So I got on pinterest to see if there was a way to spice them up so we could eat them some time.  Well, I found the best, easy recipe ever! It is a quick Pad Thai noodle variation.  All you do cook the noodles like usual, add in the seasoning packet (I used chicken flavored), then add 2 tablespoons of chunky peanut butter (I only used about 1 tablespoon), 2 tablespoons of soy sause, and 2 tablespoons of a sauce called sriracha sauce (add more or use less depending on how spicy you want to make it).  Other than it is a little high in sodium content it was good! Not something I would eat every day but it is good to mix it up once in a while and try something new!

Just Because...

Until my baby comes I have to drool over the cutest baby cousin EVER! :)  This is a picture of Mandy's (my mom's baby sister) baby Porter.  We kept sticking a nerf dart on his head.  If we put it up high enough his little chubby arms couldn't reach it.  It was adorable to say the least...

Shaela Got Hitched!

So my beautiful cousin Shaela Sutton is now known as Shaela Hoopes! My best friend growing up got married last week today to a wonderful man, Slade.  The wedding was beautiful, the bride was stunning, and most importantly, I have never seen Shaela so happy in all my life.  I am so happy for her and her new hubby to start this new adventure together and I cannot wait to get to know Slade better.

I did not take that many pictures but here are a few from her bridal shower (the dress we made for her out of the wrapping paper we wrapped her gifts in) and her and Slade giving their vows.

State Basketball 2013

Another fun adventure Dallan and I got to be apart of was the Girls' State Basketball Tournament 2013!  Dallan's two sisters, Allie and Carly, had the opportunity to go to the state tournament to represent Pocatello High School! The girls played amazing! We only lost one game and it was to Bishop Kelly who went on to become the new state champions.  Their team had plenty of ups and downs (mostly downs) all season long. But those girls persevered and took third in state! They weren't the third most talented team there by all means but they play well as a team and worked extremely hard! We were so proud of them!
It was also special to not only have sisters playing together in state but to have Dallan, the older brother, on helping coach them to their victory!
Here are a few of the photos we took while we were down there:

Our Elder

Well, Ty is about 1/4 of the way through his mission!! Woohoo!! He is doing great and he looks great. He is in his first big area as of late and claims he will be converting and baptizing Kevin Durant. I guess we all like to dream big, huh?

March is a wonderful month for many reasons. It usually means Spring is right around the corner, it is starting to get warmer, and it is also the birth month of Ty!! He will be turning 20! How crazy is that?! I feel like we are both still little kids!

I don't know if Ty usually sends a lot of photos and my mom just doesn't forward them on to me or if he really doesn't send that many pictures, but here is a photo of him and his companion on Valentines Day:

Baby Parker!

Well I am REALLY good at this whole blog thing (as you all can tell).  But I decided since I had a little extra time on my hands I would do a little catching up.
Since I last blog a few things have happened and the most exciting of them all is we are expecting!!! We could not be more excited for this little surprise! I am due at the end of July.  We go in this coming Tuesday to find out what we are having! I haven't started to show really and therefore, I haven't taken any pictures of me.  I am still in the fat stage but I think my tummy is finally starting to make its appearance! Here, however, is a picture of our first look at our baby at 10 weeks old:
